Junior training starts for U6 – 10 at 5.30pm – Wednesday 14/4/10
· Junior 10s Tournament for U12 – 16 – 24/4/10
· Senior and U18 season start – 24/4/10
· Junior season start 1/5/10
Junior training for U12 – 16 starts Wednesday 24/3/10 at 6pm (U18s already started with seniors – Tuesdays & Thursdays 6.30pm)

U/18 Vic Schoolboy Trials
Trial dates for the Schoolboys/U18 representative program have been finalised. This year the Clubs trial and Schools trial will take place on separate weekends, followed by a combined final trial.

COMBINED TRIAL @ WYNDHAM RUGBY CLUB
Two squads will be selected to attend the National Championships. The VIC A team will compete in the National Division 1 Championships in July in Brisbane, whilst the VIC B team will compete at the National Division 2 Championships in Geelong in June.
Please note: the intention that the U18 schools competition players are invited to trial on Sunday 14 March.
This leaves the U18 Club competition players free to play in the VRU 10s Competition on Saturday 13 March. Under 18s State/Schools Coach Greg Fergus will be in attendance at Cerberus on the Saturday observing the performance of players in this age group.

VRU Junior 10s 2009

The Tournament last weekend was a great success. With two U14 teams entered and one each in the U12s and U16s competitons.
U12s – Took out the Grand final 27 - 19 over Southern Districts. A special mention must go to Tali Iosefa for being named best U/12 player for the comp.
U14A's & B's – Made Prelim finals before being knocked out
U16s – Ended up Runners up in the Grand Final with scoreline of 10 - 31 to Wyndam City
Code of Conduct
With the start of the new season fast approaching, it is timely that EVERYONE be reminded that every member of the Moorabbin community is obliged to follow the Codes of Conduct of our club and the game. Our Code of Conduct is clearly displayed on the front of the clubroom.
PLAYERS must respect their team mates, the opposition and the officials. PARENTS and SPECTATORS must not abuse or show disrespect to ANY players or officials and MUST NOT enter the playing field at any time.
COACHES must encourage ALL players and show respect to ALL officials. No coach is permitted to approach any referee during or immediately after any game. There is also a specific code of conduct for JUNIOR players as well.
